California Commissioner proposes a revision of auto insurance premiums
See day automatic pricing insurance “irrational” and “unfair,” Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi proposed rules Thursday that would require air carriers to support premiums in the first place, a driver on Security data base and not only if he or she lives.
Garamendi wants to close what he considers a large gap Proposition 103, the emblem of the auto insurance measure, by voters during the years 1988, with the insurer to leave on postcodes to the self-determination of the political costs.
“The current pricing policy car is not in conformity with the law. We had this basic unfairness. Where You Live was more important, rather than lead you,” said Garamendi during a press conference in Sacramento.
